Services for Our New Puppy Families

🐾 1-Month Puppy Training Program

Set your puppy up for success with a strong foundation! Our 4-week program teaches essential skills and socialization to help your pup grow into a well-behaved companion.

Who Can Enroll:
✅ Puppies from Desert Oasis Kennels (Stay an extra month before going home or return at 16 weeks)
✅ Puppies 6 months or older with all vaccinations (outside puppies welcome!)

Program Overview:
During their month-long stay, your pup will learn:

1. Basic Obedience
🐶 Recall ("Come")
🐶 Sit
🐶 Down
🐶 Stay

2. Socialization
🐕 Outings and public exposure
👨‍👩‍👧 Time with children
🌎 Confidence in different environments

3. Crate & Potty Training
🛎️ Introduction to bell training (some puppies)
🐶 Crate training for a calm, content pup (Note: Your puppy may need an adjustment period at home—guidance will be provided)

You Will Receive:
📑 A progress report and notes on your puppy’s achievements
🎥 A video update if an in-person demonstration isn’t possible
🏡 A personalized outline based on your house rules (e.g., no furniture, no kitchen access)

📌 Payment Terms:

• Puppies purchased from Desert Oasis Kennels: Training must be paid by pickup (puppy payment by 8 weeks).

• Outside puppies: 50% deposit due at drop-off, balance due before pickup.

🐾 1-Month Crate Training Program

Help your puppy learn to love their crate! Crate training supports potty training, creates structure, and provides a safe space for your puppy.

What This Program Covers:
✅ Learning to settle calmly and quietly in the crate
✅ Building positive crate associations
✅ Supporting future potty training habits

Important Note: This is crate training, not full house-training. Puppies will still need supervision and structure at home to avoid accidents and destructive behavior.

Recommended Supplies:

• Crate (wire or plastic) sized appropriately for your puppy (available for purchase)

• Waterproof crate mats (available for purchase)

• A small blanket or mat for their crate at home

What to Bring for Your Puppy:

• Food and water dishes

• Food and any necessary medications

• One toy (no more than one, please)

• A labeled blanket or mat for their kennel

Please label all items with your puppy’s name. Desert Oasis Kennels is not responsible for any damage to items brought from home—puppies can be destructive, and we can’t guarantee items will stay intact.
